I am intrigued by all the research you do just to say "that night Hild strolled over to the women's quarters to sleep." On the one hand, authenticity is crucial to story. On the other, sometimes I, the ungrateful reader, will skip right over it just to find out what happens next. It's obviously delightful for you to learn all those fascinating details, so keep it up. Could you write a little faster please. I am really looking forward to this book.
ReplyDeletebarbara, I'd never say anything that bluntly. She's much more likely to have a political conversation with someone as she gets ready for bed. But we need to be able to see that scene; I need to know the specifics.
